PTI chairman says those who have been in power for last many years couldnt resolve Karachi's issues

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday said that the accountability court verdict of Avenfield reference against former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif and his family, should not be deferred.

Reacting to Nawaz Sharif’s appeal of deferring the verdict of Avenfield reference said that the whole nation was waiting for the verdict.

Criticizing the former premier, he said that the money and time has been wasted on the case, adding that there isn’t any special law for Nawaz Sharif and asked if every Pakistani would be given permission like the PML-N supremo.

Later talking to media before leaving for Islamabad, the PTI chairman said that those who have been in power for the last many years couldn’t resolve Karachi’s issues.

He appealed the Karachiites to come out of their houses and vote his party.

Earlier, PTI spokesman Fawad Chaudhry had also raised objection on NAB’s decision not to arrest the candidates taking part in the election.
