JUI-F workers clash with police outside KPK assembly

Police was summoned as JUI-F workers tried to break into the Assembly.

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Fuming workers of Jamiat Ulema-e Islam Fazl (JUI-F) workers clashed with police officials outside Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) assembly as provincial legislators took FATA-KPK merger bill, reported Dunya News.

As per details garnered, police was summoned as JUI-F workers tried to break into the Assembly.

JUI-F workers were chanting slogans against the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) as they foresaw merger as part of ‘greater foreign agenda’.

It is worth here to mention that both National Assembly and Senate has already adopted historic 31st amendment aka FATA reforms bill with two-third majority. With the passing of historic bill, the controversial FCR has also been quashed after 118 years.
