No load shedding during Sehr-o-Iftar, vows govt

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - With Ramadan around the corner, government has annpounced not to conduct load shedding at Sehar and Aftar, reported Dunya News.

Further more minister for water and power Abid Sher Ali warned no electricity will be provided to the theft prone high loss feeders.

Calling attention notice was presented by Oppostion leader Sherry Rehman, Azam Swati, hadayat ullah ,Rukhsana bibi and shibli faraz .Shery Rehman commented that such claims are making rounds since 2013. Abid Sher Ali said that the government has added 13000 megawatt in the national grid. There is a short fall of 8000-10000 megawatts.

Load shedding was at an all-time high in 2013. Shibli Faraz said that there has been an increase in load shedding since the start of summers yet more of it will be seen in Ramadan
