Prolonged power outages in Karachi irk locals
Locals' routine work is getting affected due to this energy crisis.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Prolonged electricity load-shedding has badly disrupted lives of people living in Karachi.
Various areas in the metropolis are facing unannounced power cuts which are irking the locals as they said that their routine work is getting affected due to this energy crisis.
Elderly resident of Khokhrapar, Masroor Jahan said that the electricity load shedding is unbearable in summers.
She said that she is only breadwinner of her house but due to continuous power outages, she faces difficulties in earning livelihood.
On the other hand, the temperature in Karachi is likely to hit 40 degrees after which Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has warned the locals to take precautionary measures.
