ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – National Electric and Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Tuesday took notice of unannounced power cuts in Karachi and summoned report from K-electric.

As per NEPRA officials, metropolis is currently witnessing 10-12 hours of power cuts. NEPRA officials will visit different areas of Karachi from 11th to 13th April.
On the other hands, NEPRA has contacted SSGC in bid to supply uninterrupted power supply to Karachi. Sources privy to development, K-electric will receive 500MW of additional electricity if any agreement is reached in this regard.
