PML-N terms Imran's demand for snap elections as a disgrace to public mandate for parliament

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Senator Pervaiz Rashid has on Sunday termed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s demand for snap election as a disgrace to public mandate, reported Dunya News.

Responding to Imran’s demand for an early election, Rashid said that Imran Khan should instead dissolve the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) assembly where his party is in power and reach out to the masses for a fresh mandate there, setting as example for everyone else.

Rashid said that Imran Khan should first get a nod from KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak for his demand.

The former minister added that any kind of injustice or lack of the rule of law wouldn’t shake the determination of the ruling party.

He said that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif wouldn’t fear any political persecution and that his party will shine again in 2018 elections.
