Never claimed backache reason behind absence from rally: Nisar
Chaudhry Nisar angry with media, says certain people start commenting on me without any news
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Senior Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has on Thursday said that he had never cited his backache as a reason behind his absence from the PML-N Islamabad-Lahore rally, reported Dunya News.
Annoyed with ‘certain circles’ of the media, Nisar said that some people first made news about him and then started commenting over them. His spokesperson stated that backache was not the reason behind Nisar’s absence from the rally. He said that 99% of party leadership was not attending the rally but he was the only one being made controversial.
Nisar added that he had never made any statements about driving Nawaz Sharif’s car in the rally but certain media channels kept claiming it on his behalf. He was furious about a statement being reported in his name which he had never issued.
He advised the media to confirm his statements before reporting them.
