Faisalabad: Protest against marathon loadshedding
Masses in various areas of Faisalabad staged a protest against continuous loadshedding.
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – Residents of Kaleem Shaheed Colony, Ghulam Muhammadabad and ABC Road staged a protest on Wednesday against marathon 28-hour loadshedding by blocking roads.
According to details, power supply of these areas was cut off after the wind storm that hit the city on Tuesday but failure of Faisalabad Electric Supply Company’s (FESCO) to restore electricity infuriated residents who came on roads and chanted slogans against FESCO officials.
The protesters were of the view that loadshedding has adversely affected dsily routine and the lives of citizens besides creating water shortage and halting commercial activities.
