Hyderabad: Protest against unscheduled loadshedding

Residents of Mani Shan Colony in Hyderabad are without electricity for the past six days.

HYDERABAD (Dunya News) - Residents of Mani Shan Colony of Latifabad No 11 in Hyderabad staged a protest against unscheduled loadshedding on Wednesday.

According to details, Mani Shan Colony is without electricity for the past six days as transformer in the area is out of order. Residents of the area have repeatedly requested Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) employees for change of the transformer. Getting no positive response from HESCO officials, the residents staged a protest on Edenesday.

Angry protesters gathered at the Khuda Hafiz Board Chowk and blocked the road by burning tyres. Angry mob also raised slogans against the HESCO officials and demanded restoration of electricity.
