PML-N's lies exposed in SC after seven months, says Naeem-ul-Haque

Haque said SC will soon take decision over Panamagate case as enough proofs have been submitted.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)  leader Naeem-ul-Haque on Wednesday said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) lies and fake documents have been exposed in the court after seven months. 

Talking to the media outside the court, Naeem-ul-Haque expressed satisfaction over today’s hearing of Supreme Court (SC) pertaining to Panama Leaks case.

He said that the SC would soon take decision over Panamagate case as enough proofs have been submitted.

Meanwhile, Fawad Chaudhry said there is no record of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s ‘political talks’ in National Assembly session.

“Sharif brothers only left with applying for mercy plea”, he added.

He further said that real face of Sharif family has been unveiled before the nation.

Earlier today, a five-member larger bench of the court, headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamali, resumed hearing of Panama Papers case in Islamabad.

During the hearing, Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali asked on which date Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter purchased the land and made payment for it.

Sharif family’s counsel Salman Aslam Butt informed court the land was purchased on April 9, 2011 and money was gifted by Nawaz Sharif. Maryam had paid back money to her father in form of land.

Salman Butt said Maryam Nawaz lives in Jati Umra.

"Is Jati Umra property in Maryam Nawaz’s name? Who pays for the expenses," asked Justice Azmat Saeed.

The defence lawyer said Maryam earns through agriculture.
