Protests in Faisalabad against power shutdown
Angry residents of Faisalabads Islam Nagar blocked Sargodha Road in protest against power shutdown.
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – According to details, Islam Nagar area of Faisalabad is without electricity for the past seven hours. Devastated due to long electricity shutdown, residents of the area staged a protest against Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO).
Angry residents also blocked Sargodha Road for all kind of traffic in protest against power shutdown. FESCO officials who visited the area were also beaten by the protesters. The residents were of the view that the electricity was not restored in the area despite their numerous complaints.
