Political leaders visit Sabri's residence, offer condolences
Security around Sabri's house was kept tight throughout the entire day
KARACHI (Dunya News) – A number of political leaders on Sunday paid visit to Amjad Sabri’s residence and offered their condolences over the murder of the qawwali singer, reported Dunya News.
Acting president Raza Rabbani along with other members of the Senate paid visit to Sabri’s house earlier in the day. Rabbani assured Amjad Sabri’s family members that his assassins will soon be apprehended.
On the directions of Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif, Federal Minister of Information Pervaiz Rashid also visited Amjad Sabri’s residence to offer condolences. He stated that the incident was an attack on the forces of good by the forces of evil.
Interior Minister Chaudary Nisar Ali Khan also visited Amjad Sabri’s residence along with Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat ul Ebad Khan and prayed for the slain qawwali singer’s forgiveness.
