PTI leader says 126-day long sit-in set a precedent for peaceful protests in country

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Naeemul Haque while responding to a statement given by Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that democratic governments consider peaceful protests as opportunity to mend their ways, further adding that Rashid s objection on political activities is an inconceivable matter, reported Dunya News on Sunday.

Naeemul Haq said that the only objection the ministers would have is of accountability over peaceful political activities. He added that the 126-day long sit-in organised by PTI set a precedent for peaceful protests in the country.

PTI leader said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government should not blame the sit-in over its incompetent governance and failed policies.
