K-electric reduces electricity fares
Reduced prices will not be implemented in agricultural sector: NEPRA
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - In terms of fuel adjustment for the month of March, National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has declared a reduction in electricity charges and has issued a notification in this regard, reported Dunya News on Monday.
K-electric proposed to deduct Rs 0.3 per unit while NEPRA has directed K-electric to run its power plants to their maximum capacity and assured the company to provide every possible relief in the month of June.
NEPRA also stated that the prices would not be implemented in the agricultural sector and for those clients consuming 300 units of electricity per month.
