CPPA recommends Rs 3.63 deduction in electricity prices for 1 month

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) on Thursday has requested National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) to reduce electricity price by Rs 3.63 per unit this month, reported Dunya News.

NEPRA stated that CPPA has suggested deduction in electricity prices due to monthly fuel adjustment. Rs 3.62 per unit has been charged for power production cost in the month of February, according to which the customers will recover Rs 7.26 per unit in the bills. The hearing of the application has been postponed to March 29 on the request of CCPA.
