Train derails near Shahdara railway station
Train transportation system affected because of incident, several reported slightly injured
(Web Desk) – The engine and bogie of an Allama Iqbal Express train travelling from Karachi to Sialkot were derailed because of a bump as the train reached Shahdara Station, reported Dunya news.
The train was put to a halt at once after the incident which prevented the entire train from falling over. Several people were reported to be slightly injured because of the accident who were shifted to Government Shahdara hospital.
The railway track was blocked as a result of the accident preventing the railway transportation system as the railway authorities were not prompt to react to the incident.
