Army is providing 25,000 children with education, 18000 Baloch youth have joined Pakistan: COAS

QUETTA (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Tuesday said that terrorists are getting funding from outside and support from inside the country. He was addressing a seminar on Peace and Prosperity in Quetta, reported Dunya News.

According to the details, General Raheel Sharif said that peace has been restored in Balochistan due to the sacrifices of security forces. Operation Zarb-e-Azb would continue till elimination of last terrorist, added COAS. He furthur said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will prove to be a game changer for Pakistan.

COAS said that securing the borders of Pakistan is their priority. He added that government institutions cannot work without the support of the people. 

General Sharif further said that the Army is providing 25,000 children with educational facilities in Balochistan, while 18,000 youth of the province have joined Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps (FC). 

The Army Chief stated that the future of Balochistan and Pakistan is bright. He further added that Frontier Works (FW) is constructing 632 roads in Balochistan and he has ordered the FW not to cease or slow down the work in any case.
