Four killed as coach turned turtle near Bahawalpur
Another 18 passengers were wounded in the accident.
BAHAWALPUR (Dunya News) – A speeding coach turned turtle near Ahmadpur Sharqia toll plaza near Bahawalpur on early Friday morning, killing at least four people.
According to details, the bus was enroute to Karachi from Faisalabad but met an accident on way due to over speeding and breakdown of tie rod.
The driver tried to stop the bus near a speed breaker but the vehicle toppled due to the rash speed which resulted in tie rod rupture.
Another 18 passengers were wounded in the accident.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the dead and injured to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Ahmadpur Sharqia.
Atleast 10 critically wounded were later admitted to Bahawal Victoria Hospital for medical aid.
