ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid on Sunday questioned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan what has the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government done for the farmers, Dunya News reported.

The federal minister said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has given a Kissan Package of Rs 341 billion to the farmers.

In a statement issued from Islamabad, Pervaiz Rashid said Khan should take practical steps for betterment of farmers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa instead of criticizing the government.

He said PM’s package for farmers includes cash amount for farmers, fertilizers on discounted prices, solar-powered tube wells and agricultural loans.

The federal minister said the Kissan Package is for farmers of the whole country without any discrimination. He further told that the Nandipur Project is also running, adding that he invites Imran Khan to come and witness it working.

Pervaiz Rashid further said that Khan should at least congratulate the people after witnessing Nandipur project running if he doesn’t want to do so for the government.
