Rajanpur: Locals begin relocating as police operation against Chotu Gang enters day-7
A woman and a 12-year-old minor have been injured in the exchange of fire until today
KACHA (Dunya News) – Kachi Jamal One area’s locals have started relocating to safer places as operation launched by police against Chotu Gang steps in the seventh day without substantial success.
The police are conducting operation against a dacoits’ group named Chotu Gang in Kachi Jamal One and Two for the last seven days. Different areas including Kacha Karachi and Kacha Morokhali have been evacuated. However, intense police combat is ongoing against dacoits in Kachi Jamal One and Two.
A woman and a 12-year-old minor have been injured in the exchange of fire until today. Cattle diary animals are also vulnerable to fire in the ongoing operation. The act has forced the affected families to leave Kacha.
A local said that injured persons are being shifted to a hospital in Rahim Yar Khan. He said that the farmers are unable to look after their fields due to the operation. He further said that they would return once Kacha is cleared of dacoits.
