PTI received funding from 'enemy Jewish and Hindu lobby': Pervaiz Rashid
He demanded Imran Khan to say under oath he did not accept donation from any foreigner
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Leveling grave allegations on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid on Thursday claimed the former received funding from ‘enemy Jewish and Hindu’ lobby, Dunya News reported.
Responding to PTI chief’s allegations, Pervaiz Rashid said Imran Khan should say under oath that he did not accept donation from any foreigner, adding that the Election Commission (ECP) covered Imran Khan’s crimes.
The federal minister also presented documentation to the media which he claimed is evidence supporting his claims. He said Imran Khan should take him to the court in the morning if the latter is not the ‘tool of the enemy’.
Pervaiz Rashid said PTI used that funding to topple Pakistan’s democracy. He said PTI leader Akbar Babar had petitioned ECP regarding party’s funds in which it was told that the funds collected in the United States (US) were used to run the civil disobedience campaign.
“This donation was used to attack the parliament and cancel Chinese president’s visit”, he said, adding that using such money is not permitted as per the political parties’ act.
