Modern techniques are required to counter losses by natural disasters, says Shahbaz Sharif
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday has said that Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) is being made in sync with modern requirements.
He expressed these views in connection with awareness day of natural disasters.
The CM said that research regarding disaster management should be promoted in universities and educational institutions. He said that modern techniques are required to counter losses by natural disasters.
CM Shahbaz said that the people are needed to be educated regarding minimizing losses of natural disasters.
