Rental power case: 8th reference filed, Raja Pervez Ashraf summoned
NAB expedites activities against VIPs, 8 suspects including former PM Raja Pervez Ashraf summoned
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – 7th reference has on Tuesday been filed in the rental power case by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in Accountability Court and 8 including former Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf have been summoned, reported Dunya News.
According to details, Raja Pervez Ashraf has been summoned in Naudero Rental Power case by Accountability Court in Islamabad. NAB reference says that the suspects have been found guilty of misusing their power, violations of laws and awarding illegal contracts.
The court summoned Raja Pervez Ashraf, former Secretary Water and Power Shahid Rafi, former secretary Ismail Qureshi, former MDs of PEPCO Tahir Basharat Cheema and Munawwar Baseer and ordered them to appear on October 9.
