Sindh education corruption: Over 4500 employees hired without merit
Though the hiring has been declared as fake, all the employees are still working on their posts
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – In yet another mega corruption scandal from Sindh, this time from the education department, over 4500 employees have been hired without observing any merit whatsoever. Besides, though the hiring has been declared as fake, all the employees are still working on their posts, reported Dunya News.
According to the list obtained by Dunya News, 4553 employees were hired during 2012 and 2013 in the education department in Sindh. The department has already declared this hiring as fake yet all the employees are still working on their posts and also getting their salaries.
The summary sent to Accountant General Sindh for discontinuing these salaries was also not acted upon.
