Abdul Hafeez Pirzada passes away

Prominent lawyer and one of the founding members of PPP died in London on Tuesday.

LONDON (Dunya News) – Renowned lawyer and former federal minister Abdul Hafeez Pirzada breathed his last after a brief illness at a London hospital on Tuesday night.

Abdul Hafeez Pirzada was one of the founding members of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and a close associate and aide of former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. He was the lead government member of the committee that drafted the 1973 Constitution of Pakistan.

Hafeez Pirzada was elected MNA in 1970 elections. He remained Federal Law Minister from 1973 to 1977.
