Respect NA-122 decision but don't agree with it: Pervaiz Rashid

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcast Senator Pervaiz Rashid has on Sunday said that the government respects the decision of the tribunal on NA-122 but doesn’t agree with the decision. “Why was Sardar Ayaz Sadiq punished for the mistakes of the election commission’s staff?” questioned Pervaiz Rashid, reported Dunya News.
Terming the tribunal’s decision on NA-122 as ‘biased’, Pervaiz Rashid said that the tribunal held election commission responsible for the irregularities but punished Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) for them. He said that the election tribunal was biased against PML-N.
“Reading the detailed judgment, it seems that the writer of the judgment wanted prominence”, said the federal minister. Pervaiz Rashid said that Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan does not get satisfied with a marginal defeat. “If re-elections are held, Haripur’s history will be repeated”, said Rashid.
