APHC demonstrates protest outside UN Observer office in federal capital

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) on Indian independence day has demonstrated protest outside United Nations Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) and filed a memorandum regarding council’s resolutions on right to self-determination.
The protest was led by APHC leader Mir Tahir Masood. The protesters held placards against Indian occupation in Kashmir and had tied black armbands. Masood said that Kashmiris worldwide observe Indian independence day as black day because of the killings and violence.
He urged the UN and international community to play their parts in provision of right to self-determination to Kashmiris.
