Results pour in after KP local body re-polling concludes
The polling ended at 6pm
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) –PESHAWAR (Dunya News) -- Results of 56 district councils has been announced so far in KP LB polls as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led the roster by winning 22 seats. Awami National Party (ANP) won 5, Jamiat-e-Ulema Fazl (JUI-F) and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) won 3 seats each. Independent candidates secured up to 13 seats, reported Dunya News.
Inconclusive and non-final results have started pouring in for the 56 wards for which the polls have been conducted.
Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) has secured 3 seats, Jamat-e-Islami 1 while independent candidates have secured 13 seats.
Meanwhile at Tehsil level, results of 22 wards have been declared. PTI won 8 seats, JUI-F 3, ANP and PML-N secured 2 each. 5 independent candidates also won at Tehsil level.

Independent candidate Matloob Rehman wins from Tehsil Balakot s Ward 2 by securing 3090 votes
PML-N s Jehangir Naseem wins from Mansehra s Ward 11 Garhi Habibullah
PTI s Inayatullah succeeds in Karak s Ward 10 by securing 1963 votes
PTI s Gulab Shah succeeds by securing 791 votes in Bannu s Ward 16
PTI s Mushtaq Khan wins by securing 4804 votes in Mansehra s Ward 2
ANP s Bakhtiar Muhammad succeeds by securing 1563 votes in Swabi s Ward 38
Independent candidate Ahmed Sultan succeeds from Mardan’s Ward 31 after securing 1739 votes.
The re-polling took place in over 200 wards of as many as 14 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
