Ended fear from Karachi by empowering security institutions: Pervaiz Rashid
PM has fully authorized security institutions, he said
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid on Wednesday said that the government had ended the ‘atmosphere of fear’ from Karachi when it mandated the security institutions, adding that Imran Khan has now arrived in Karachi to recite prayers on his grandfather’s grave.
Reacting to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s statements, Federal Minister said that it is government’s determination to bring back peace in Karachi, adding that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has given full authority to the security institutions for establishment of peace.
He said it was the government’s empowerment of security institutions that removed the atmosphere of fear from Karachi and that Khan is now gone to Karachi to recite Fateha at his grandfather’s grave.
