Info Minister said PML-N hasn't yet decided on candidates for Chairman and Deputy Chairman of Senate
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid has on Saturday said that the ruling Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) hasn’t yet taken any decision about its candidates for Senate and Deputy Chairman Senate elections, Dunya News reported.
In a statement, Information Minister said that process of consultation with the coalition parties was still going on. He said that the candidates will be nominated after consultations.
“Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has contacted National Party (NP) leader Mir Hasil Bizenju and Awami National Party (ANP) leader Asfand Yar Wali while I have contacted Jamaat Islami (JI) leader Sirajul Haq”, he said. “Railways Minister Saad Rafique has contacted Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leaders as well”, he added.
