Sharmila Farooqi preps up for espousal, cards distributed in Assembly
The 'mehndi' ceremony will be held on 3th of March with glorious festivities and celebrations.
KARACHI (Dunya news) – Pakistan People s Party’s (PPP) member of National Assembly (MNA) Sharmila Farooqi’s marriage cards were distributed in the Sindh Assembly on Friday. Farooqi has been really busy in prepping up for her upcoming espousal with Hasham Riaz Sheikh. The PPP representative was always seen as a lady who favored arguments for ‘one dish’ in the Assembly and recommended simple wedding ceremonies. But no such principles or thoughts were strong enough to stop Farooqi from divulging into some extravagance on her own wedding.
According to the details, Sharmila Farooqi’s marriage ceremony will span from 22nd February to 8th of March, a grand total of 15 days. Farooqi will sit for her ‘mayion’ on the 22nd of February. 25th February will be a day for music. The couple will tie the nuptial knot on 28th of February in the ‘Nikkah’ ceremony. The ‘mehndi’ ceremony will be held on 3th of March with glorious festivities and celebrations. Farooqi will finally leave for her new home on 5th of March. A grand walima ceremony will then be held on 8th of March in Lahore.
Women members of the Assembly have stated that they will say best wishes to their friend for her new home with all joviality, merriment and celebrations. The media light has not been shined upon Farooqi’s wedding up until now but stories of her engagement have been known widely and discussed greatly.
