These wagons could transport at least 5,000 ton fuel on daily basis, says Railways Minister

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique on Wednesday has said that the Pakistan Railways has oil tanker railway wagons and if the government needs speedy countrywide transport of petroleum products, oil wagons could be used.

He expressed these views while talking to the media outside the Supreme Court (SC).

He said that the railways has transported its oil wagons to Karachi in wake of ongoing petrol crisis so that the government could use these if needed. These wagons could transport at least 5,000 ton fuel on daily basis, he added. While talking about the agreement of at least 141 acre land given to the Royal Palm Golf Club which was owned by the Pakistan Railways, he said that the agreement was a result of corrupt deal. He said that they need justice from the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan.
