Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to address nation today
The scheduled address comes just six days ahead of PTI's rally in Islamabad.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - While addressing the nation today (Monday), Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will take the nation into confidence over the prevailing political situation in the country.
He will also take the nation into confidence over the important agreements recently signed between Pakistan and China.
The scheduled address comes just six days ahead of opposition party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf s (PTI) rally in the federal capital. PTI accuses PM Nawaz of rigging last year`s election which brought him back to power in a landslide, a charge he denies.
Earlier today, the Prime Minister met Director General (DG) Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lieutenant General Rizwan Akhtar at PM House in Islamabad.
DG ISI briefed PM on the collective security situation on the Line of Control (LoC) and working boundary in addition to informing him about the success and progress of ongoing anti-terrorism operations Zarb-e-Azb and Khyber-1.
