PAT chief Tahirul Qadri is likely to visit Europe and America.

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri is likely to visit Europe and America for a fundraising campaign, Dunya News reported on Saturday.

According to party sources, recommendation regarding Tahirul Qadri’s travel is under consideration.

PAT leader Raheeq Abbasi said that international party organizations have extended their full cooperation during recent rallies, the motive of Qadri’s visit is to thank them for their assistance.

Tahirul Qadri, the Canada-based Pakistani cleric, faced strong criticism after he ended 65-day long sit-in protest in Islamabad on Sunday.

He arrived in the federal capital in mid-August along with thousands of his supporters, with the aim of toppling the PML-N government but the sudden announcement of ending the sit-in disappointed many of Qadri’s supporters and his allies, including the Pakistan Muslims League Quaid (PML-Q).

Senior PPP leader Raja Riaz accused Qadri of having a deal with the government to wind up Islamabad sit-in. However, the PAT chief has denied any contact with the government.
