In its convocation invitation, PIDE names Manmohan Singh as Pakistan's president

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), in its convocation invitation, named Manmohan Singh instead of Mamnoon Hussain as President of Pakistan.

PIDE’s invitation on its third annual convocation was a collage of mistakes. Federal institute’s spokesperson changed the name of Pakistan’s president. Former Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh was named as the President of Pakistan on the invitation card. The statement on the card says, “President Manmohan Singh and Professor Ahsan Iqbal will distribute the degrees among the students”. Invitation card did not mention Ahsan Iqbal’s designation and instead of typing the date of convocation as October 28, the spokesperson wrote November 28.
