Protesters have hindered development in the country, he claimed.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday said that the sit-in protests have died, adding that the politics of ‘self-interested’ elements has been buried through people’s rejection of ‘destructive politics’, Dunya News reported.

He alleged that the sit-in protesters have interrupted development and resolution of energy crisis in the country.

Talking to Federal Minister for Defense Production Rana Tanvir Hussain and General (retd) Abdul Qayyum, CM Punjab said that no conspiracy can part Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leadership from the ‘mission of serving people’.
