NA Speaker summons 6 PTI MNAs for resignation verification
Sources said that the salaries and allowances of PTI's NA members are stopped.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq on Sunday wrote to at least six members of national assembly (MNAs) of PTI for resignation verification, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the six MNAs who are summoned to appear before the speaker include Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Asad Umar, Arif Alvi, Shireen Mazari, and Engineer Ali Muhammad.
The letters were sent to six MNAs to appear before the Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq for verification of their respective resignations.
Sources revealed that the Election Commission has also written to the Speaker inquiring about the resignations of PTI’s MNAs. The sources add that the Speaker has been urged to accept the resignations from the date they were submitted.
Sources further added that the salaries and allowances of PTI’s NA members are stopped.
