Those who talk of democracy learn nothing from democratic countries, says PAT chief
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr. Tahirul Qadri has said that there is no democracy in the country and that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was ruling like a king. “It is not democracy, it is monarch”, said PAT chief.
Speaking to the participants of ‘Revolution March’ today (Sunday) in Islamabad, Tahirul Qadri said that peaceful protests are held throughout the world but those who talk so much of democracy learn nothing from other democratic countries.
Dr. Qadri said that peaceful protesters were manhandled last night by Police but PAT workers braved the brutality with great bravery. He saluted the workers of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and PAT too.
PAT chief said that citizens were still deprived of their rights in a free country because Pakistan has not won the freedom of Quiad-e-Azam’s dreams as yet.
“Nawaz Sharif is the biggest investor of Asia”, said Qadri. He alleged that rulers’ rule is only for the sake of their own business and loot. “Mega project of corruption started when they entered politics”, Qadri said.
