Four killed, 5 injured as passenger van falls into ravine in Battagram

BATTAGRAM (Web Desk) – At least four people died and five others got injured when a passenger van fell into ravine in Sakkargah area of Allai Tehsil, Dunya News reported on Saturday.

The ill-fated van was travelling from Battagram District to Bisham.

The injured were rescued by locals and they were shifted to District Headquarter Hospital.

According to police, the van skidded due to rain.

Pakistan has one of the world's worst records for fatal traffic accidents due to poor roads, badly maintained vehicles and reckless driving.
