26 suspects including Afghanis arrested in Gujrat search operation

GUJRAT (Web Desk) – Security forces and intelligence officials conducted joint search operation in different areas of Gujrat, Dunya News reported on Tuesday.
The overnight raids were conducted in Kotla Arbab Ali Khan and Kharian areas.
During action, 23 Afghan nationals were arrested for illegally residing in the country. They were handed over to Gujrat police.
Separately, three suspects were arrested along with automatic weapons. They were shifted to Gujranwala’s investigation centre.
Meanwhile in Gujranwala’s central jail, seven mobile phones, 13 SIMs and drugs were recovered from inmates’ possession.
