Lahore: Imran hospitalized after falling from stage
Doctors of Shaukat Khannum Hospital says Imran conscious and out of danger despite injuries.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Imran Khan Tuesday fell from the lifter when he was being lifted to the stage to address a public rally in Ghalib Market.
According to initial reports Imran received head injuries and was bleeding after the incident. He was rushed to a private hospital in Gulberg, from was shifted to Shaukat Khannun Hospital for treatment.
Imran fell from a height of 10 feet when he apparently lost balance. He fell to ground along with three guards.
The supporters of PTI and workers were in a state of shock after the incidence.
The nature of injuries could not be confirmed immediately.
Former cricketer Abdul Qadir has appealed to people to pray for the health of Imran Khan.
Meanwhile, PML-N chief Mian Nawaz Sharif and other political leaders have expressed their grief over the incident and prayed for the early recovery of the PTI chief.

When contacted PTI leader Ibrarul Haq said Imran had received injuries on head and shoulder but his condition was not critical.
