Quetta: Gun and bomb attacks claim 4 lives

At least four people were killed in separate incident of violence in different parts of Quetta.

 

The first incident occurred at the Aspeeni Road where some unidentified persons opened indiscriminate fire on a taxi, killing one person identified as Abdullah and wounding Hassan Raza, Muhammad Arif and Latif. The dead and injured belonged to Hazara community.

 

The second incident took place at the Qumbrani Road where gunmen shot dead an unidentified man and fled from the scene.

 

Meanwhile a remote controlled bomb exploded at a general store in Raza Street area of Saryab that injured three people.

 

Another bomb blast occurred a the Jadoon Chowk on Jan Muhammad Road causing injuries to two people.

 

The third bomb blast occurred in front of Excise Office near Saryab Police Station, killing one person identified as Naveed while four others, including three cops, were wounded. The injured were shifted to Civil Hospital.

 

Meanwhile, Balochistan Home Department have imposed ban on pillion riding in the province with immediate effect and a notification in this regard has been issued.
