Suddle commission unacceptable: Bokhari
Council of Malik Riaz says he has challenged the legality of the commission in Supreme Court .
ISLAMABAD: Zahid Bukhari, counsel for business tycoon Malik Riaz, has said that they do not trust Shoaib Suddle commission, adding that the report of the commission would be subjective.
He was addressing the media outside Supreme Court on Thursday.
Zahid Bukhari accused the commission for not launching impartial investigation against Arsalan Iftikhar. He said the flat that Arsalan had lived in, was rented out in millions of rupees but the commission didn’t investigate the matter. He further said the commission had no right to inquire about the tax and account details of Malik Riaz, saying that his name was put into exit control list (ECL) to keep the foreign witnesses away from the case.
Bukhari said that the investigation carried out between October 6 and November 6 was illegal.
Legality of the commission has been challenged in the Supreme Court once again, he added.
