Malala ranks 6th on FP top 100 list

Malala Yousafzai has been ranked at sixth position among FP Top 100 Global Thinkers list.

 

According to the US media, an American magazine Foreign Policy has placed 15-year-old Pakistani child rights activist Malala Yousafzai at the sixth spot in its top 100 Global Thinkers list.


Malala, a victimized school girl, has been honoured by the FP due to her untiring efforts for standing up to the Taliban and everything they represent, magazine stated.


Malala was shot injured in October when her school bus was intercepted by some armed men on her way to home after an exam, who shot her in the head. She was grievously wounded but miraculously survived.


It is astonishing to see Malala Yousafzai ahead of the International leaders including United States President Barack Obama, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and many more in the list of Global thinkers.


Former Pakistani ambassador to US Husain Haqqani and his wife Farahnaz Ispahani have also made up to the influential list both been placed at 61.


Burmese opposition politician Aung San Suu Kyi and President Thein Sein have jointly topped the list followed by Moncef Marzouki, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Sebastian Thrun, Bill Gates and so on.
