Two suspects named in Faisal Town robbery case while four can be clearly seen in footage
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Police failing miserably in catching the perpetrators of Faisal Town robbery case. To add insult to the injury, only two people have been named as suspects while the CCTV footage clearly shows four robbers. However, eight people have been arrested for investigations into Millat Park murders’ case, reported Dunya News.
During the same month, various other horrific crimes have been reported in the city while the law enforcement agencies were nowhere to be seen. A professor was also gunned down earlier this month in Iqbal Town. In Sanda area, a person named Imtiaz was fired at by unidentified men on motorbike while Imtiaz was standing outside his home.
The perpetrators were neither caught by Dolphin force nor were the PERU force cars to be seen anywhere near the scenes.
Police claimed that eight people had been arrested in Millat Park murders’ case and their documents were being checked. Their mobile data were also obtained. Moreover, geo-fencing will also be done of the scene to obtain the record.
On the other hand, only two suspects were named in Faisal Town robbery case while the footage clearly showed that the number of perpetrators was four.
Similarly, no headways have so far been made into the professor’s murder case in Iqbal Town.

Addressing a high level meeting at CM House, Shehbaz Sharif was livid with the performance of the law enforcement agencies. He said that billions were spent on equipping the police with latest tools and training yet such incidents were taking place in broad daylight on traffic signals. He said that these incidents raised a big question mark over the performance of the police and other law enforcement agencies. He was presented with the initial reports on the robbery in Garden Town and a failed robbery on Lower Mall.
CM said that the police at any cost must arrest the perpetrators behind the robbery in Garden Town and murders in Millat Park within next 72 hours. He said that such incidents in a city like Lahore were tragic and raised question mark on police performance.
