Police arrest eight suspects in connection with five murders in Lahore
Police officers have also decided to hold geo-fencing of the detainees.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Police personnel on Tuesday have arrested as many as eight suspects with criminal record in connection with murders of five people in Lahore’s Millat Park.
According to details, various documents including mobile phone data of the accused have been taken into custody for further investigation.
Police officers have also decided to hold geo-fencing of the detainees.
Earlier, unknown gunmen killed four people at a money-changer’s shop in Millat Park as they tried to resist a robbery bid.
The deceased were identified as Farhan, Tanveer, Abbas and Amjad.
Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif had taken notice of the incident and demanded report from Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) within 24 hours.
