Libya: Western forces destroy ammunition depots in Tripoli

The Western forces destroyed ammunition depots as the air raids continue on Libyan capital Tripoli.

Gaddafi forces continue hitting rebel cities of Misurata, Adibia and Zentan and people are facing shortageof food.According to the sources, several citizens and fighters have been killed in attacks.According to an opposition leader, the Gaddafi forces will soon take control of the cities if the world powers do not support the rebel forces.An Arab TV claimed that yesterday’s air strikes caused heavy loss to Gaddafi’s ammunition depots.The Libyan authorities fear that Western forces could halt or destroy oil shipments.On the other side, the blame game of civilian killings continues between Gaddafi and the Western forces.Meanwhile, the British prime minister said that the Western forces woluld not violate the UN resolution.British Foreign Minister William Hague said that Gaddafi forces were targeting the civilians despite the announcement of ceasefire, while Gaddafi claimed that civilian killings were increasing due attacks by Western forces.According to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, NATO will take the command of Libyan operation till Monday.
