Humans must leave Earth within 100 years to survive: Hawkings
Hawkings has foreboded that Earth would witness extinction of mankind if it is not evacuated
LONDON (Dunya News) – Astronomer and physicist Stephen Hawkings has claimed on Thursday that planet Earth would cease to offer hospital environment to the mankind within 100 years.
While conversing in a British documentary titled ‘Expedition New Earth’, Hawkings said that environmental changes, catastrophes and ever increasing population would turn Earth inhospitable which is why more resources are needed to be utilised to find hospitable environment ‘elsewhere’.
SpaceX and NASA are working towards unveiling facts leading to increased odds of creating hospitable environment on Mars.
Hawkings has foreboded that Earth would witness extinction of mankind if it is not evacuated within a century.
Earlier the scientist had called for a ‘world government’ to prevent humans from dooming ourselves. He had said that aggressive instincts and fast-paced technological development would trigger a nuclear or biological war.
For the documentary helmed by British Broadcasting Corporation, Hawkings and one of his students Christophe Galfard will travel around the world finding how humans could survive in outer space.
