President Obama makes surprise visit to Afghanistan
The Us President Barack Hussain Obama has made a surprise visit to Afghanistan where he addressed the US troops in Bigram Airbase. The US President landed on the Bigram Airbase where he was received by General David Petraeus. President Obama, while addressing the US troops, said that the US army is accomplishing its targets in Afghanistan successfully and that they would succeed in their mission. He also said that Taliban are losing ground in Afghanistan and Al-Qaeda would be defeated at any cost. The US President talked to his Afghan counterpart on telephone and went back after staying for 4-hours in Afghanistan.
