Siachen glacier melting due to Indian military activity

Siachen glacier has been melting alarmingly more due to military activity of India than global warming and a lake has been emerged in the area. According to a report of geologists of Germany and Austria, the lack is occurred at the height of 15,500 feet above sea level and its width is 500 meters. India had announced to pull out soldiers from Siachen but nothing has been done in this regard.
